The market in Strafford, located across from the Bow Lake dam, has served the community for over 80 years. We are 5th generation Bow Lakers and grateful for this opportunity to usher in a new era for the market.
Our mother used to sign gifts and cards from the 7 Cs- standing for the 2 parents and 5 children and our family name of Callioras. All 5 children and dad will be seen in the store and have a long history in the food service industry. Currently we also run a restaurant in Well, Maine, Litchfield’s Bar & Grill and a roadside food stand in Lee, LCG on Wheels. The market will be a bit different, but we will be serving up some of our most popular items in the kitchen such as our own fresh ground burgers and sliced steak for subs, lobster rolls, thin crust pizza, and our own roast beef. For the retail side, we will strive to offer a mixed variety of popular staples as well as local and regional items.
